Welcome to The House Martin!

We are an independent property management agency based in Nelson, New Zealand. The house martin after who we are named, is a migratory bird, a welcome sight to all – the arrival of this small creature tells of warmer weather on it’s way. Folklore has it that a house martin is said to bless every home it nests in and bring good fortune to those who live inside.

We chose this name, struck by its symbolism; the significance of working together with both landlords and tenants. Our owners offer a home to be lived in and our tenants who live there and appreciate and enjoy making it their own.
